This section is responsible for teaching and research of “China’s Current Situation and Policy”, a course of ideological and political theories for both undergraduate and graduate students. In compliance with such principles as “political, timely, extensive and targeted”, it provides students with various programs such as classes, lectures and situation reports on updated theories and policies of CPC and the state, and current situations of economy and politics both at home and abroad, for purposes of building up their confidence in and sense of reasonability for the construction of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. As to academic research, this institution focuses on important theories of CPC and the state, important reality issues, and hot issues at home and abroad.
